JANET AUREEN SHEAD (NEE LAW) August 2, 1932 - December 10, 2012 After a long and happy life, Janet lost her valiant fight with cancer at the age of 80 (69 and holding). Janet was predeceased by her loving husband George, daughter Robyn, parents Charles (Bud) and Aureen, son-in-law Jim Taylor, brother Delbert, Ronald, Howard, sisters-in-law Edna and Betty, brother-in-law Jim Baty, nephews Wayne, Teddy and Robert. Remaining to cherish her memory is her daughter Lori Taylor, son in law Darren (Sheila), grandchildren Kory, Janna, Kyle, and Lisa, great-grandchildren Lita, Heidi, Sara and Tierron (Pocket). Janet was always considered a feisty determined, no frills necessary, positive thinker. She loved family, and travelling in her retirement years to Rockport, Texas with her husband George. Later years she enjoyed her Monday casino days spent with her buddies and family. Her family would like to thank the dedicated staff at the Concordia Hospital, especially Dr. Robert Johnson, the palliative team as well as the home care staff for their excellent care! I send you each a special gift from my heaven above, I send you each a memory of my undying love. So, have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear, remember I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. Respecting Janet's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Janet's name to a charity of one's choice.
