Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY MAY JACKSON (nee HALL) May 24, 1918 - December 12, 2012 Peacefully on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, Dorothy, age 94 years, passed away with her family by her side. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Ron, six sisters and her parents. Left to the cherish her memory are her two daughters, Janet Freeman and Linda Rieger (Garry), five grandchildren, Wayne (Penny), Grant, Marni (Don), Ryan (Christina) and Kari (Leah), great-grandchildren Shawn, Justin, Shane, Chantel (Robert), Amanda (Ryan), Erica, Samantha (Troy), Victoria, Gibson, Jewel, Jackson and Bennett, and great-great grandchildren Peyton, Gabriel, and Joseph. Born in London, England, and immigrated to Canada in 1957 with her family. Dorothy enjoyed a career as a Health Care Aid at Bethania Nursing Home. Dorothy loved baking, knitting, going to the cabin and travelling. She had a great sense of humour, and blue eyes that could light up any room, she adored babies and dogs. A memorial service was held on Monday, December 17, 2012. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba.

Dorothy's family would like to thank the caring and wonderful staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 17 at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow.
