Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARNOLD ISFORD With great sadness we announce the passing of Arnold Isford on December 5, 2012, at his residence in Santa Ana, CA at 87 years of age. Arnold was born November 20, 1925 in Winnipeg, MB. He was predeceased by his wife Lillian, son Paul, grandchildren Christopher Gyles and Cathleen Isford. Arnold graduated from Daniel McIntyre Collegiate in 1940 he then went on to work at CP Rail for a few years before serving in the Second World War for the Canadian Army from 1943 to 1946. Arnold went to U of W from 1946 to 1949 and then U of M in 1950 he then left for California to finish off his education at UCLA with a Masters in Economics. Arnold worked for Lockheed International for several years, then started his own business in the production of transducers. He also started a company in placer gold mining. These are just a few of Arnold's business ventures he loved working and being and entrepreneur, he worked well into his 70s. Arnold leaves behind his daughter Anne (Isford) his brother George and sister-in-law Olive Gyles many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces/nephews and great-nieces and nephews. As per Arnold's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. He will be laid to rest January 3, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Johns Cemetery in Santa Ana, CA.
