VIVIAN MAE PAYNE Born October 8, 1919 at Bethany, Manitoba. Passed away peacefully December 9, 2012 in her Aston Unit home at Selkirk Place, Victoria, B.C. Predeceased in 2002 by loving husband Gordon E. Payne. Survived by loving son Bev L.J. Young, daughter-in-law Gwen, granddaughter Lisa and grandson Brian. Equally missed by Gordon's daughter Georgie Ann Frye, son-in-law John, grandsons Konrad and Keith (Dana) great-grandson Konnor and great-granddaughter Dylan. Mom was a cosmetics consultant at The Bay in Winnipeg for 30 years before retiring to Victoria in 1981. Mom and Dad entertained family and friends, enjoyed golf, and traveled to Arizona until late in life. A very large thank you to the staff of the Aston Unit at Selkirk Place for the wonderful care mom received to the end. A family remembrance will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
