Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET LILLIAN MORRISSEAU (nee MCIVOR) On December 11, 2012, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at the age 67, passed away peacefully with family at her side. Beloved mother of Troy, Gloria and Frank. Margaret was born August 30, 1945, in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Daughter of Tom and Irene McIvor. She was raised in Haywood, Manitoba. She moved to Winnipeg in 1964. Margaret worked at various jobs until the birth of her three children. She then became a stay-at-home mom. She was also well known as a foster mom to many foster children. She enjoyed country music, cooking, baking, canning and talking on the phone with family. Predeceased by parents Tom and Irene McIvor, six brothers - Oscar, Edward, Clifford, Richard, Norman and Herman, one sister Ida, several nieces and nephews. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her loving memory son Troy (Charlene and Taylor), daughter Gloria (Lorne, Kayetta, Keisha, Kaylee, Dominique, Brittany and Raven), son Frank (Carol, Ashley, Mandy, Dilan and Toni), adopted sons Aaron and Dakota, adopted daughter Fheeniks, sisters Helen, Elsie, Dian and Annette, brothers Roger, John and George, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Prayers at Cropo Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Dennis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, Manitoba, on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Haywood Cemetery. Friends may leave a message and sign the register at our web site. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetic Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Auntie Mag, where to start. What a wonderful woman. As a child, I remember going to her house and she would make me lunch. She often made vegetable soup and a meat sandwich. I was little and she always took time and had patience with my clumsiness. One of the little things I remember was that she would put an ice cube in my soup so it wouldn't burn my mouth. My mom has been gone for a year and half now. we all miss her like crazy. I wish she would still be here with us through all our hard times but she ain't. she left us with good memories and Happy thoughts. The Memories we have of our Mother, Grandma, Auntie, etc. Has left us with love. I will always remember when she told me she loved and she didn't want me to get hurt. But being the kid i was before i didn't listen to her. I will cherish the memories i had with my mother, and the stuff she got me. I'll keep that in my heart forever and ever. She would have been a great grandma to my niece's children. I hope she can see this in heaven I just wanted to say i was sorry for all the stuff i did to you. I regret everything i did to hurt you. I changed so much I just wish i could show how much I've changed. But you're in heaven now i hope you are impressed with me now. I should've been like this when you were still with us but i wasn't. I miss my mom like crazy, next month would be 1 year when she left us. I know she is looking down on us watching over us making sure we don't do anything stupid. I love her I wish I didnt runaway from her or lie or anything bad I've changed my ways because she's all that matters to me! I love u mommy if u read this in heaven I hope u still love me even through all my bs. I love u like a love song..... Margaret was my mother and I usually would never listen to her but now i regret not listening to her when she talked to me. I REALLY MISS MY MOMMY!
