Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERA ADELE CONTOIS (nee PAKOO) Vera Adele Contois was born on September 6, 1940 in Pine Falls, Manitoba and passed away on December 18, 2012 in the Gateby Care Residence at the age of 72 years. Vera will be lovingly remembered by her five daughters, Gail Contois of Vernon, B.C., Joanne (Dennis) Tom of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Darlene Contois of Salmon Arm, B.C., Jacqueline (Howard) May of Trail, B.C. and Maxine Fontaine of Winnipeg, Manitoba; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Iris (Joe) Houston and Florence (Louis) Malo of Pine Falls, Manitoba; five brothers, Rod Pakoo of Pine Falls, Manitoba, Lloyd (Mary Lou) Pakoo of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Calvin (Margaret) Pakoo of Lockport, Manitoba, Mark Pakoo of Pine Falls, Manitoba and Neil (Kim) Pakoo of The Beaches, Manitoba; and numerous extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Magnus (Joe) Contois on November 22, 2011; three brothers and two sisters. The Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.. with Reverend Father Dale Normandeau officiating. Cremation will follow.
