JOAN ENID SNYDER (BOWDREY) December 7, 1926 - November 20, 2012 Our mother passed away peacefully. Born in Bethany, MB, she was predeceased by her husband, Ward and her beloved son, David. Left with cherished memories are her children: Janice (David) Wharrie, Linda (Wayne) Carpenter, Eileen (Gary) Nesdoly and Joseph Snyder. Grandchildren: Matthew Wharrie, Trevor Carpenter, Melanie Geiger, Colin Carpenter and Joy-Lynn Snyder and eight great-grandchildren. Mum is also survived by Doug and Lynn Bowdrey, Harvey and David Kinsmen, Pauline Chant (Snyder), Irvin Snyder and their families. Our loving mother was the homemaker, resourceful and fiscally savvy. She was a great cook and gardener. She belonged to the Pilot Mound St. John's ACW, Legion Ladies, and Horticultural Society and gave generously to Pembina Valley Humane Society. A Celebration of Life was held December 7 at St. John's Anglican Church. She was interred at Manitou Cemetery, Rev. Bill and Mona Blackburn officiating.
