I have been Laurie's hairstylist for a while now. It's Jan. now and I just heard the sad news. Laurie is one of those customers I will remember for a lifetime. I always looked forward to her coming in on Thursday nights with yes, her funny sence of humor, her laugh, and all her stories of her trips to Fargo and Grand Forks for shopping, her stories about work, her plans to see Jon Bon Jovi on tour, and her love for her dog, parents and Alvin whom she talked about alot. I truly consider her a friend too. My heart breaks for the loss of my dear customer, and I pray you are surrounded by lotsa love and bling cuz girl...... you deserve it!!!!!! My condolences to her family, Alvin, friends and anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her - Posted by: Shelly Cozine - c/o Cozy Cuts (Hairdresser/friend) on: Jan 13, 2013

Laurie became our new neighbor about 10 years ago. We soon got to know first the boss of the house Echo who introduced us to Laurie! Over the years Laurie became a friend, loved her humor and sarcasm. We spent hours talking and soon found she had an obsession for plants. We would laugh about her pulling into her driveway and pulling out plant after plant and new plans for the yard. We truly will miss Laurie but am so grateful to have known her. Our thoughts are with Laurie's mom and dad and Alvin. - Posted by: Marty and Joanne (Neighbor and friend) on: Dec 27, 2012

Laurie was so much more than a co-worker to us and will be greatly missed. We will never forget our trips to Fargo and beyond with her and all the fun we had shopping and partying. Her bedtime rituals and her need for "bling" will always make us smile. Our sincerest condolences to Laurie's mom and dad. Also, to Alvin and Kim and family - you were like family to her and you have our deepest sympathies. - Posted by: The Girls of Enforcement (friends and co-workers) on: Dec 24, 2012

Mr and Mrs Kuch, there are no words to express the sorrow in my heart. It was over 20 years ago when I first met Laurie. The memories of our trip to Disney World are as fresh as yesterday. Even though we were rarely in contact of late, she was often in my thoughts - and I would always smile. My deepest, heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. Her smile, laugh, twinkly eyes, and golden heart will be so fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. I am so blessed to have had her touch my life, and to have called her friend. - Posted by: Debbie Isaacs (Friend) on: Dec 23, 2012
