SALVADOR MERANO, SR. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. We would like to thank the staff of the Health Sciences Centre -MICU department for the exceptional care and support they have provided our father and to our family. He will be lovingly missed by his wife Concepcion, children and their spouses: Marisa and Gil, Denis and Cynthia, Melvin and Mayette, Joan and Michel, Bong and Rizza, Lily and Rolly, Teresa and Federico, Herminia and Ruben, and Sal, grandchildren: Rose and Nathan, Anthony, Christopher, Mark, Deniel, Dominic, Jansel, Conichi, Jay, John, Jullian, Jowella, Joseph, Vixen, Vianca, Vince, Jessica, Jerome, JR, Jaime, Terrence, Theanna, Taylor, Ryan, Hazel, Angelica and great-grandchildren Drey, Mark and Noah. Viewing or lamay will be held on December 27 and 28 from 6:00 p.m. til midnight at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Funeral mass will be on Saturday, December 29 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church on Arlington St. Interment will follow right after the service at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
