LEONARD FROMSON Leonard E. (Len) Fromson born March 6, 1937 in Winnipeg, MB, Canada passed in Murrieta, California, USA on December 16, 2012, surrounded by his loving wife and adult children. Len was raised humbly in Winnipeg from the late 1930s through the 1950s. Len's sense of teenage adventurousness took him to Alberta, where he worked on the oil rigs and railroads and as a bouncer and hotel bellhop. He earned a degree in industrial engineering from North Dakota State University in 1958. In that same year he wed the mother of his children, Patricia (Connolly), whom he divorced in 1986. Len settled in Montreal in 1967, where he became President of his synagogue. He worked for Dupont, the Canadian Research Council, Ernst and Ernst, and several manufacturing companies in Canada. He immigrated to Southern California in 1977 and managed several manufacturing plants and retired in 1999 due to his declining health. He is survived by Dolores "Dee" (McAllister) whom he married in 1999, his daughter Leah (Kinarthy) of Victoria, BC, Martin of Riverside, California, Daniel "Asher" of Riverside, and Sean of Huntington Beach, California. Len leaves behind 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson. An avid outdoorsman, boater, and scuba diver, Len traveled throughout the world. Len was respected by colleagues, admired by friends, and loved by his family. In his impending death, he displayed uncommon courage and dignity, earning their greater admiration and love.
