JOSEPH WOLFE It is with saddened hearts we announce that on Thursday, December 20, 2012 Joseph Wolfe passed away suddenly at his home in Vita, MB. Joseph was a family man and fathered four children with his first wife Elizabeth until her passing in 1965. Years later he met his second wife Anne who passed away in 2010. Joe was a hard working man and in his younger years ran his own Taxi service in Vita until he started his career at Canada Packers until his retirement party in April of 1988. Joe and Anne lived in Winnipeg until 1994 when he then returned to his roots in Vita where he was born February 13, 1930 and spent his retirement tending to his garden and the birds in his yard, and once again started driving himself and others to and from Steinbach. Joe leaves to mourn his daughter Heather (Ed) and sons Claude (Michelle) and Nelson Hamera (Lynn) as well as his sister Helen Sawka, brother Stanley (Rita) as well as sisters in-law Doris and Margaret, son-in-law Dale and brother-in-law Jerry Grodecki, as well as 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Joe was predeceased by his parents Julia and Kazmir as well as his first wife Elizabeth and second wife Anne, his son Grant, daughter Angela and stepdaughter Geraldine Hamera as well as his brothers John (Olga), Walter, Frank, Dan and his sister Mary (Eugine) Sokolak and infant sister Antoinette. Memorial service will be held at Vita Funeral Home, 245 Railway Ave., Vita MB. On Monday, December 31 at 12:30 p.m.

Joseph passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012, and will be greatly missed by his surviving family. Memorial service planned for Monday, December 31, 2012, in Vita, MB.
