Somehow I missed David's obituary in December, having lost track of this lovely man after he moved from his apartment. He suffered so from the death of his dear George. I wish you good memories of earlier times. - Posted by: Linda Strange (neighbour) on: Jan 26, 2013

As a student nurse many moons ago at SMHC Dave was a person who I admired as a caring professional. As a nurse who worked with him on D12 we shared many a laugh and he was a valued member of the team. I wish him well on his journey and to the family may your memories of him keep him close to you. - Posted by: debra marginet o'neale (co-worker) on: Jan 19, 2013

My dearest sympathy to those closest to David. He was one of the most sincere and compassionate people I have ever met in my life. The last time I visited him, he was in his condo and was lovingly remembering George and their life together by relating a story with each artifact, figurine and antique he showed me in his home. A kind and gentle soul. - Posted by: L.Roberts, Winnipeg () on: Jan 19, 2013

Candace, I extend my most sincere sympathy for your great loss. I recall how much your uncle treasured you and the special relationship you had with him. Remember that gorgeous fur coat! I hear that he was an incredibly caring and compassionate man throughout his career. - Posted by: Brenda Jones (Former co-worker MB Govt) on: Jan 18, 2013
