CLAIRE ANNETTE DOERR I
Born: Jan 29, 1933
Date of Passing: Dec 26, 2012
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLAIRE ANNETTE DOERR I had to leave you on December 26, 2012. I was born in Forget, SK on January 29, 1933 and moved to Indian Head, SK in 1945. There I met my only boyfriend and the love of my life, Ron. We were married when I was 19 and we celebrated 60 years on December 18, 2012. My parents, Henry and Malvina Donais, and my brother Armand predeceased me. I am survived by Ron; sons Dean, Jeff (Rita) and Robert (Mary); my much loved grandchildren Melanie (Jaret), Taylor, Tim (Rachel), Emily (Matt), Austin, Katharine, and Angela, and my precious great-grandchildren, Willow, Prairie, Temple, and Olive. Also survived by my sister Dolores (Ed Bollinger) in Calgary; brother-in-law William Thompson in Fort Qu'Appelle, SK, and numerous nephews and nieces and their families. I joined the Al-Anon program and have been a member for 50 plus years. Al-Anon enriched my Roman Catholic upbringing and faith in my spiritual journey and sustained me through many years of Systemic Lupus. Living One Day at a Time' was when I started to feel the presence of God in my life. Bible studies in my later years helped me to know the Bible better and the importance of being joyful through trials and tribulations. My life was filled with love; the best family and friends anyone could have. Thank you and may God bless all of you. Thank you to Dr. Jowett, who looked after me for over 25 plus years. You are the best. Thank you also to Dr. Pat Harris and all the nurses who have helped me though this journey. Thanks to the Palliative Care and Grace Hospice program staff who were so helpful through my final days on this earth. My Memorial Service will be at St. Ignatius Church (Stafford and Corydon) on January 3, 2013 at the 11:00 a.m. service with Fr. Jerry MacDougal officiating. Flowers gratefully declined - donations to Teen Challenge; St. Ignatius Church, or a charity of your choice is appreciated. Thank you God for a wonder filled and full life. Good Bye and remember: Where ever you are, be there'.

Annette reached out to me several years ago, giving me support and insight in dealing with Lupus. Memories of my cousin and I visiting with her, and the great homemade soup and bread she made for lunch, remain close to my heart. She was an inspriration. Peace be with all her family. - Posted by: Dayna Grenkow (friend) on: Jan 02, 2013

God made sure our paths crossed and we became friends with Annette just by association of where we sat in church. Annette welcomed us in her home and helped my cousin through her experience with Lupus by sharing her story of encouragement with us. Annette is a beautiful soul and has a most amazing family. We were blessed to know her! To all of Annette's friends and family we wish you fond memories and next year she will be spending Christmas with Jesus! God Bless You All. - Posted by: Wendy and Joe Krupnik (Friends from Church) on: Dec 30, 2012
