We are so sorry to hear about the loss of such a wonderful man. We lived next door for about ten years, and loved Steve's kindness, sense of humour, and always evident love for his family. Steven and Leslie, you had the gift of two wonderful and loving parents, and what a great legacy. Love to your family. - Posted by: John and Trudy Yu and Family (Old neighbors) on: Jan 04, 2013

Steve Jr....I will miss your father. He was somewhat of a father figure to me after my father's passing. Whatever you need from me my friend, don't hesitate to ask. - Posted by: Eddy Kosa (Friend) on: Jan 02, 2013

My uncle was a larger than life character. We compared silly hats a couple of weeks ago via Skype - he of course had the worst cap I have ever seen! His infectious humour will be missed - a boyish, cheeky BIG man! Miss you - Posted by: maggie izmenyi (niece) on: Jan 02, 2013

I was much too young to remember much of Steve Senior, but from what I've heard he was a very sweet and loving man. He drove the bus my mom and I took every morning and he got to know our schedule so well that he would wait for us at the stop if we were running late. Not many bus drivers would do that for complete strangers. My mom says that we would always sit up front and he would always try and steal my lunches. Uncle Steve & Brody, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you all incredible strength during this difficult time. - Posted by: Brittany Bennington (Friend) on: Dec 30, 2012

I first met Steve Sr. when he worked for Transit. He was always so friendly, every morning my daughter and I would get on his bus and we were always greeted with a boisterous "good morning" and a sincere "have a great day". Little did I know that we had a bit of a connection. We shared a friendship with Steve Jr. What a funny meeting it was when we were visiting Steve Jr. & saw Steve Sr sitting in his chair. My daughter recognized him right away. He was a wonderful man and I know he will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Michael & Jeannie Bennington (Friend) on: Dec 29, 2012
