WALTHIN (WALLY) KOLBERG April 6, 1932 - December 26, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Walthin Kolberg, our dear husband, father and grandfather, after a courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Eileen of 52 years, son Dan (Marianne), daughter Cheryl (Dallas) and their two children Scotia and Cole. He also leaves behind two brothers Ed (Lorraine) of British Columbia and Tom of Arizona. He was predeceased by his mother Astrid and father Peter, six sisters and four brothers. A special thank you to the Palliative Care Program for the excellent care and kindness that was provided to Wally and the family during this difficult time. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Riverview Health Center, #1 Morley St., Winnipeg, MB R3L2P4. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at a future date. Flowers are greatly declined. As a request from Wally, he asks that the next time you raise your glass, you remember his life, his friendship and good times. Cheers!
