Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNETTE CELINE ZOLONDEK (nee JETTE) November 29, 1924 - December 27, 2012 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jeannette Zolondek on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Park Manor Personal Care Home. Jeannette was born in St. Boniface, MB, to parents Marius and Anna Jette. Jeannette met Peter Zolondek and they married on January 31, 1942 Jeannette was predeceased by her husband Peter Zolondek, her infant son Philip, her daughter Lorraine Foidart, her parents Marius and Anna Jette, her brother Hubert Jette and sister in-law Jeanine Jette. She is survived by two sons, Marc (Anita) of Winnipeg, Gilbert (Jacqueline) of St. Albert, AB, son-in-law Leonard (Tharsile) Foidart of Notre-Dame de Lourdes, MB, brother George (Lynne) and numerous nieces and nephews. Jeannette, grandmother of Michelle (Kevin), Peter (Kelly), Coreen, Paul (Charlene), Carla (Paul), Gabrielle, Christine and Matthieu. Great-grandmother of Lyle, Nicole, Jocelyn, Shannon, Kirstin, Andrew, Skylar, Braeden, Emma and Abby. Great-great-grandmother of Tyrus and Darius. Jeannette was born and raised in Transcona. She was active at Blessed Sacrament Parish, on the parish board, C.W.L. and many committees. She enjoyed many years with her Sewing Club and Red Hat Ladies. She enjoyed bus trips, cards and winters in Arizona, especially her trip to Hawaii with lifelong friend Mary. The family extends special thanks to all the staff at Park Manor for their care and compassion. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 710 Roanoke Street at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2012. Fr. Ed Bonin presiding. Rest in Peace my dear friend Jeannette. I sincerely appreciated your support and friendship during the many years; including my visit to your winter get-a-way in Arizona. You were a beautiful, lovely and angelic person; that will be sadly miss in this world by many.
