CLARA BANK (nee MCLEOD) Our devastating loss of Clara occurred on December 27, 2012. Following a brief illness, she was welcomed into the arms of The Lord. Clara was born on September 25, 1934 in Dauphin, Manitoba. Clara married Adam Bank on September 5, 1959 in Winnipeg, where they established a successful business. Their daughter, Leah, was born in 1963. Through the years, Clara developed her skills as a talented and accomplished business woman. Clara's first concern in business, as in her life, was the welfare of others. She deeply loved and valued her family. Clara's love for the mountains drew her to settle in Canmore, Alberta in 1991. She is survived by her husband Adam Bank, daughter Leah Murphy (Dean), granddaughter Jenna, and sisters Fern Smorang (Carl), Betty Ann Graydon (Richard), Sandra McLeod, Gordiena McLeod Towns (Gregg). She was predeceased by her parents Jennie and Gordon McLeod, sister Beryl Roque and nephew Gordon McLeod. Clara is very loved and missed by all of us and will be in our thoughts often. A memorial service will be held on January 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Canmore Alberta Golf Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
