(BUCK) ALBERT GORDON CAMPBELL Buck was born on December 11, 1936, and passed away peacefully on December 31, 2012, at the Riverview Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 76. Buck leaves to mourn his lady Emily Evans; his son Bruce (Mavis) Campbell; his granddaughter Carrie (Richard) Tyerman; his great-grandchildren Dylan and Dakota Tyerman; his sisters Edna Fines and Shirley Zwarych; his sister-in-law Adeline (John) Natyna and brother-in-law Dennis (Pam) Pistun, as well as several nieces and nephews. Buck was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Anne Campbell; a sister and brother-in-law Dorothy (Bill) McKnight; and two brothers-in-law Stan Zwarych and Lloyd Fines. Buck worked with Manitoba Hydro in Northern Manitoba for many years as a Journeyman Electrician prior to retirement. His main passion in life was to spend time at their cabin in The Narrows with family and friends socializing and playing card games. Saturday nights you could find Buck listening to the Portage radio station with the Polka music on and his foot tapping. He belonged to the Stonewall Kinsman Club and spent many hours in the building of Kinsman Lake. He enjoyed many sports including fastball, curling and duck shooting. A huge thank you to the staff and doctors on the Palliative Care Unit on 3rd Floor, East Wing in the Riverview Health Centre and the Home Care Palliative Care staff for the exceptional care they provided to Buck. Cremation has taken place, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall with Rev. James Bardsley officiating.
