Interment followed in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue.

It was a joy to see Mr. Bowerman as his smile and deep gentle voice filled the room. His absence brings tears to my eyes, but the memory of him will stay in my heart forever. John, one of the sweetest people it has been my priviledge to know. I got to know him through the church services he gratefully attended, then as a friend. A privilege to have known this gentle - gentleman. Mr. Bowerman loved to recite the rosary with us. He was so reverent when receiving the Eucharist. Always had a beautiful smile for any of us who volunteered at Deer Lodge. I am so happy for him that he has finally reached his Eternal Home and get to see God face to face.
