ARNOLD NICHOLAS THACZUK Peacefully on December 27, 2012, at Health Sciences Center, Arnold Thaczuk passed away at the age of 69 years. Arnold is survived by his son Marc, grandchildren Maxdon and Michaela, and sister Eleanor. He was predeceased by his parents, brother, and his former spouse Victoria. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013, at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street, with a visitation one half hour prior to the service.   • I am very sad to hear about Arnold's passing. I knew Arnold for almost 15 years - we met as neighbours in Wolseley. He was a terrific cook but more than anything I will remember his love for and dedication to his precious cats Buttons and Sheba. God's peace be with his friends and family.   • I was very sorry to hear about Arnold’s passing. Arnold and I were childhood friends. Arnold lived on Annabelle Street and I lived across the lane on McFarlane Street. Arnold’s parents were one of the few who got a TV set early around 1954 or 55. Arnold would invite me over to watch TV, normally on Saturday night. I remember watching the Honeymooners, followed by wresting at their house.
