She will be missed by many friends and relatives throughout Canada, US and England. Rose enjoyed her 25 years of work at the Eaton's mail order and warehouse until her retirement. She was known for her arts and crafts, her decorative skills and entertainment activities for the East Kildonan and Seven Oaks Lions Clubs and an active fundraising member for many years. Rose enjoyed playing Saturday night Kinsmen Bingo and going on regular camping trips, vacations, bus tours and weekend junkets to Grand Forks with her family and to the casino with Ray, Bill and Pearl. She looked forward to cooking, entertaining, and quality time with her family and friends, but especially dinner outings and movie dates with her soul mate, Ray. A celebration of Rose's life will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main St., Winnpeg. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will follow at a later date.
