DONNA LOUISE EARL (née MCCONNELL) 1931 - 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna Earl on January 2, 2013, at Riverview Health Centre, after a lengthy illness. She was 81. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 62 years, Richard; her four children Michael and Gloria Earl, Delanie and Wayne Rhymer, Emily and Offer Kuban, and Gary Earl; her four grandchildren Kym and Chris Graves, Topher and Ashley Earl, Katherine Rhymer, and Jennifer Rhymer; her beautiful great-granddaughter Rylee Jenesta Graves; her brother Grant and Edmonde McConnell of Quebec City; beloved nieces and nephews, and many precious friends. Donna was born in Minnedosa, Manitoba into the heart of a close-knit family on August 24, 1931. She moved with her family to Winnipeg as a young girl, where she began to pursue her love of music. She completed her piano studies under The Western Board of Music, School of Music, University of Manitoba in 1950 and later received an Associateship of Music, Singing Teacher, in 1971. During her life, Donna was devoted to the teaching and appreciation of music, to her church, and, most of all, to her family. She will always be remembered for her loveliness, kind heart, sense of humour, enduring faith, and exquisite talent. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by all who knew her. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Shojania, Dr. D Houston, and Barb Hues R.N. at CancerCare Manitoba for their extraordinary care; and the exceptional and compassionate staff at Riverview Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
