HAZEL AMELIA SANDERCOCK (nee GRIFFIN) September 23, 1918 - January 6, 2013 It is with great sadness we say goodbye to our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who passed away peacefully, at Boundary Trails Health Centre, at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Mel on December 8, 2005 and will be truly missed by her children, Donna (Ron), Glenda (Bill), Merle (Brian) and Bill (Linda). She also leaves behind her nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom she was immensely proud. She is survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Roberta Griffin, Betty Sandercock, Florence Sandercock, Garry Sandercock, Bert Sandercock and Don and Mavis Cram. The family would like to thank the home care staff that worked at the Elks Apartment Complex in Morden for all the good care they have given looking after her and also to the medical staff at Boundary Trails Health Centre. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at St. Paul's United Church, 353 Thornhill St. in Morden with ash interment at Dunston Cemetery. All are invited to remain for a reception in her honour. Donations may be made in Hazel's memory to either the Tabor Home, Boundary Trails Health Centre or to the Pembina Parish. Mom, you will be dearly missed by your family and friends. You gave us so much with no expectations and touched our lives so greatly! Rest in peace.
