HONORATA NAPOLES (nee GALARSE) With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Honorata on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Grace Hospital, our beloved mother, and grandmother, at the age of 92. She leaves to cherish her memory with her children Edna (Lee Zulueta) in Tennessee, Angel Jr. (Violet Napoles), Ely (Cesar Famisan), Fe (Agbunag); grandchildren Anna May (Jar Lukban) in Tennessee, Nadine Bea, Adil-Jan, Giselle Marie, Kathleen Joei, Cesly, Eliza, Feby (Allan Eisma), Maya (Rob), Adonis, Emmy; and great-grandchildren Jaci Arabella, Jade Alessandra, Jayden, Patricia, Taylor, Carly. She was predeceased by her husband Angel Sr., son Jimmy, grandson Glennjay (1990), sisters Ursula, Anastasia, Sabel, Sabina, all in the Philippines. Honorata was born January 10, 1920, in Banna Ilocos Norte, Philippines and moved to San Narciso, Zambales. Honorata moved to Winnipeg in June 1994. Inang, as everybody called her, loved to sew, do her crossword puzzles every day, and watch wrestling and boxing. Inang enjoyed a full and rewarding life and had a loving family. We are thankful for the time we were able to share with her. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses in I.C.U. at Grace Hospital for their compassionate care. The family would like to thank Inang's homecare worker, Luz Aquino for the excellent care she had given Inang. Lamay (Viewing) will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, January 17 and 18, 2013, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 445 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19 at St. Vital Parish, 1629 Pembina Hwy. Interment will take place after the mass at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, Himlayang Garden. A gathering with family and friends will follow at the Glen Lawn Reception Centre.
