Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHEILA ANN COOK (nee WARD) We regret to announce the passing of our mother and grandmother Sheila Cook. She passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2013, the day after her 81st birthday. Predeceased by her husband Claire Cook, Sheila leaves to mourn her three sons and three daughters-in-law Kelly (Betty) of Selkirk, MB, Mitch (Donna) of Lethbridge, AB and Lyall (Maxine) of Nipawin, SK, her grandchildren and her extended family. Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church, 15 Tupper Street S., Portage la Prairie, on Friday, January 18, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. led by Rev. Beth Kerr. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Sheila's memory to Trinity United Church Memorial Fund, 15 Tupper Street S., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1W7 or a charity of choice. Remembering your Mom with fond memories. We were a young married, childless, couple living next door in the "big" house. Husband worked at McMasters and I was a teacher at Prince Charles and then Victoria schools. She was so friendly, such fun, and an amazing Mom. I remember thinking, when I have children I want to be a Mom like her. I trust that your treasured memories of a life shared, and loved, will help to sustain you all through this difficult time.
