ELSE KRISTINA MANZ (nee ALBERTSEN) Else Kristina Manz, late of Regina, SK passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the age of 73. She was born to the late Minnie and Carl Albertsen; sister to Louise Stewart and Carol Dickinson; mother to Ian and Stephen Manz; grandmother to Noah, Nicole and Evan Manz, and loving wife, friend and partner to Floyd Manz. Else was born in Carmen, MB on February 11, 1940. She graduated from St. Boniface Hospital with a RN, and a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan in 1965. Else worked as a Nursing Instructor at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB and as an Educator at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre in Regina. She was actively involved in the community. Else married Floyd M. Manz on July 31, 1965 and they were married for over 47 years. Family and friends were Else's joy and pride. Else was predeceased by her parents Minnie and Carl; as well as her surrogate father figure, Aksel Albertsen. She will be dearly missed. Memorial Service will be held at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3510 Queen Street, Regina on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Craig Moeller officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Society of Saskatchewan, 610 Duchess Street, Saskatoon, SK S7K 0R1 or to a charity of your choice.
