Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Dear Auntie Edith & Uncle George & Auntie Julie I will fondly remember your visit to us here in Cornwall back in the 70's. We were out with my family everyday visiting the places that you wanted to see especially Dartmoor good job the weather was nice as it would have been quite bleak!. Uncle George bought me my first riding hat Auntie Julie bought me lots of sweets & Auntie Edith brought me over a nice beaded necklace made by an Indian girl whose dad worked with Uncle George. We had such a laugh as Uncle George is my Grandads brother & when they got together..well....bunch of trouble double trouble & Auntie Edith would always set them straight! :). I didn't know my cousin Philip as from what I can gather he passed away years ago & they never really got over it. God bless you Auntie Edith reunited with your loved ones again.....keep them in line now won't you. R.I.P now. All my love Elaine. • One of the joys of my life was the time I spent in the company of George and Edith. She was the straight person (with an inevitable smile on her face) to George's hilarious stories and jokes. They, and Phil, were considered to be a much loved part of our family. Edith was always so gentle and caring. We thank her for the memories she created for us. - Posted by: Warren and Marguerite Wolfe (Friend) on: Jan 28, 2013

  • Mrs. Johns was one of the best teachers that I had in my elementary years of schooling. As a person she was always interested in her students long after they left school. She will be missed. - Posted by: Beverley Bennett (Teacher) on: Jan 18, 2013
