THOMAS JAMES ALLISON It is with great sadness the family of Tom Allison announces his peaceful passing on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Pine Falls, MB, at the age of 75 years. Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Denise, son Reece, daughter Andrea (Roger); grandsons Kyle (Sasha) and Roger (Erica); sisters Grace, Nan and Eileen (Marino); brothers-in-law Lorne (Eva), Bob and Ovide; sisters-in-law Irene, Pamela and Amy Allison, and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Islay; siblings Stan and Andy; in-laws Robert and Cecillia Knott and Kay Tardiff. Tom was employed at the paper mill in Pine Falls for 33 years. Tom was an avid bowler, curler and golfer. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, skiing and hiking with family and friends. Tom was diagnosed with vascular dementia in 2009 and the debilitating disease slowly stole him from us. Our grateful thanks to family and friends for the prayers and support during Tom's illness. Also heartfelt thanks to the home care workers and hospital staff for their tender and compassionate care. Funeral service will take place at Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, Pine Falls, MB.   • I will miss seeing Tom walking with his partner Denise all over our fine town. If there was one thing you could count on summer and winter it was the two of them on their rounds.
