VICTOR KAFKA Passed peacefully in his sleep on January 17, 2013 in his 82nd year. GG will be lovingly missed by his children, Dorothy (Ken), Victor (Donna), Douglas (Linda) and grandchildren Shari, Dennis (Christy), Jennifer and Brendan as well as his great-grandchildren, Jacob, Mackenzie, Tyler, Nicholas, Victoria and his best friend, Jackson. Predeceased by his much loved sister Mary and husband John, Willie and Bernadette. Survived by brothers and sisters, Lilly, Leo, Bill (Sarah), Joe, Henry (Joyce), Jerry, Jane (Helmut), Kenny (Sandy) and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Vic's wishes, cremation has taken place and a family gathering will be held. The warmest thank you to Dr. Mizerra and the staff of Juravinski Hospital as well as, Ridgeview Long Term Care Home for their care and support. I was searching for my family wanting to reconnect after all these years (20 years) away from home and family. I just found out my beloved brother has passed away almost three years ago. I am so sad I missed his passing and want to come home to my family. If anyone is reading this, I want them to know I love them and miss them all. I am living in Midway BC and would appreciate hearing from anyone with information about my missing children. I miss you all. Forever will I have fond memories of my uncle. The many times he would take my brother, sister, his three children :Dorothy ,Vic,Doug and myself to Lakeland swimming pool on hot summer days. The wild mushroom picking ( those delicious morels ) and generally good times. He was the only man I know of who was a dedicated father, (mother) and care-giver to his three children.
