Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySANDRA DALE WEAVER (nee WILTON) Born January 26 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Passed away May 4, 2012 in Ladysmith, BC. Sandra has gone to join her sister Lynda Gail Harris, and parents Violet and Bill Wilton. Sandra will be greatly missed and loved by those who knew her, family and friends alike. Sandra requested cremation and will be interred at a later date with her parents. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, (204) 897-4665. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Cancer Foundation, The Salvation Army, or The Winnipeg Humane Society. Special thanks to Dixie and Carole for their help. Sandra attended and graduated from St. James Collegiate. A donation of a Mazda MX3 has been donated to a scholarship in her name.

Having lost touch with Sandra many years ago following a divorce from her brother-in-law Terry, I’ve only just learned of Sandra’s passing. For several years, we spent a considerable amount of time together. Sandra was a woman with a strong independent spirit. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a sharp wit. She was always ready for a new adventure. She made the most delicious cabbage rolls. One year she made huge teddy bears for her nephews Chris & Mike (my sons). The longer I knew her, the more surprised I was at all her hidden talents. She was a friend not just a sister-in-law.
