DALE CAMPBELL GILLSON March 29, 1945 - January 1, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dale Gillson on January 1, 2013. He will be fondly remembered by his children Sandra (Matthew), James (Mag) and their mother Patricia, granddaughter Pyper, stepchildren Sara, Ryan and their mother Carol, as well as his extended family and friends. Dale was predeceased by his parents Campbell and Isobel, and his brother Blair. Dale was born in Winnipeg, grew up in Fort Garry, and attended Vincent Massey Collegiate. After school he began his career as a Journeyman Pipefitter at CN Rail, where he worked for more than 35 years until his retirement. His greatest passions were restoring old street rods and going on numerous hot rod runs throughout the city and across North America. He was a member of the Manitoba Street Rod Association for many years. Dale did not wish to have a funeral service. Instead we will toast to his memory at the Henderson Draft House, located in the Curtis Gordon Motor Hotel, 1011 Henderson Hwy on January 26, 2013 between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
