Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTON (TONY) PENNER 1935 - 2013 On Monday January 21, 2013 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Tony Penner aged 77 years of Winkler, MB formerly of Plum Coulee went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Nettie (nee Friesen), one daughter, Rose and Ray Wiebe, two sons, John and Eileen Penner, Ernie and Gloria Penner, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his mother, Maria Penner, three sisters and four brothers. He was predeceased by one sister and four brothers. Viewing will be today from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Winkler Mennonite Church, 31 Willowdale Cr. with interment to follow at Winkler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony's memory to Boundary Trails Health Centre Palliative Care unit Box 2000 Winkler, MB R6W 1Y8. I have many fond memories of Anton, (and his wife Nettie) he was very close to my mom and Dad (Cornie/Margaret) we'd go over and help him with his chickens and share many laughs together.
