ROBERT HAMPTON February 23, 1930 - January 24, 2012 When I Lost You I wish I could see you one more time come walking through the door But I know that is impossible I will hear your voice no more. I know you can feel my tears and you don't want me to cry Yet my heart is broken Because I can't understand Why someone so precious had to die. I pray that God will give me strength And somehow get me through As I struggle with this heartache That came when I lost you. A Grandfather Like You Throughout the years you've always been A wonderful man to me When I was small you took the time To bounce me on your knee. As I grew older, you were there, I only had to call I knew that I could count on you You'd never let me fall. So many hard times in my life You've helped to get me through I'm so glad God gave me A Grandfather as special as you. Love Karen and Cole
