WILLIAM (BILL) HALPENNY November 7, 1930 - January 24, 2013 After a brief illness, Bill died at the Victoria General Hospital, with family at his side. Born in Regina, SK, Bill and Aileen had resided in Winnipeg for 50 years. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Jim. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Aileen. Also by his daughter Janice (Nigel) Peters, Lyndsey (Landen), Andrew and Lauren of Edmonton, his son Scott (Craig) Devon, Teagan and Kiera of Winnipeg and his son Mike (Pauline) Grace and Emma of Twin Cities, MN. In keeping with Bill's wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will be held later. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so wish, a donation may be made to the Cancer Society, the ALS Society or a charity of their choice.

  • I had the honour of working with Bill during my time in the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce. He was a great person, fulled with knowlege and a fun personality. I then met Bill once again when he was one of the members of CHAM Holdings and I was with the Jubilee Fund. He was great to catch up on old times.
