Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I was heartbroken to just find out that Monsieur Ouimet has passed. He was my (and many others) teacher in Ile Des Chenes in the mid 80s. He is the one teacher I thought about many times growing up but never reached out to him. He was a cool cat. Later dude. - Posted by: Dan (student) on: Dec 10, 2019

  • The teacher that had the most impact on my education and life. I still think about those classic Risk games we had during History class. Thank you for being there. - Posted by: Tom (Student) on: Dec 08, 2015

  • It is with great sadness that My Favorite Teacher of all time, has passsed on WITH LUCY to the sky with Diamonds. MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MOMENTS are when Rolly brought incense and we had hippie week at school, painted our lockers, taught US about 5 and dime bags. Introduced US TO STORIES like "Of Mice and Men", "Roots" and "Homer's Odyessy "... I Miss You Mr. Ouimet - Posted by: Bobbie-Lynn Lizee (Student from Ile des Chenes ) on: Apr 01, 2015

  • Mr. Ouimet was the best teacher I have ever had. Class was always fun with him because of the way he treated us, like friends. I will always miss his use of the word "Wawa" :) and that one time he sent me for a turkey sandwich after my exam. Thanks for passing me, Roland. You are in a much better place now, see you when that day comes. - Posted by: Dean (Student) on: Nov 30, 2013
