LYNNE MACAULAY (HILL)
Born: Mar 20, 1946
Date of Passing: Jan 27, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYNNE MACAULAY (HILL) March 20, 1946 - January 27, 2013 Mom passed away early Sunday morning, peacefully with her family by her side, at the St. Boniface Hospital. She is lovingly remembered by her children Don, Terri (Todd Fisette), and Jay, her grandchildren Michael, Madison, Sheridan, and Jenna, her mother Irene, her sisters Carol and Shelley, her brothers Ken and Tim, and her many extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her spouse John, dad Gordon, and brother Bob. Mom dedicated her life to caring for others, especially young children. She loved her family and friends unconditionally, always giving and asking nothing in return. Mom passed on to us her love of nature through our many boating and camping adventures in Lake of the Woods, the Whiteshell, and recent summers spent together at Long Bow Lake. She took great pride in her career as a daycare provider and for over 30 years, she touched the lives of hundreds of children. All that knew Mom, loved her. She was a humble, kind, and uncomplicated person. Her easy-going spirit, her beauty, and her laughter lit up the room. Her greatest joy was her family and she made the most of each moment we spent together. She treasured her four grandchildren, "her most special gifts" as she would say. She loved spending time with them and they spent countless hours together, making crafts, playing mini-sticks, decorating cookies, laughing, being silly, and just having fun. She was the best Gramma ever. Lynne, Mom, Gramma, you are forever in our hearts. We love you and we miss you. Rest in Peace. The family extends thanks to the Health Care professionals at CancerCare Manitoba and the St. Boniface Hospital for their compassion and care. A celebration of Mom's life will be held on Friday, February 1 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.

Your Mom and Grandma was one of the kindest Ladies I have ever met. She had a heart of gold, and carried herself with class, a true definition of the term "Lady." Cherish the memories, I know that she was very proud of her family, especially her Grandkids. - Posted by: Tim Shyiak (Freind) on: Feb 01, 2013
