Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT FREDERICK OLIVER PEARSON November 7, 1927 - January 20, 2013 Robert died suddenly at the age of 85. He was a simple man, with a delicious sense of humour. Everyone loved him for his wisdom and sage counsel. He was born in Kenora, Ontario to Yvonne (Eva) Metail and Ford Day. His parents divorced and his mother then married Harry Pearson who adopted Robert and his five siblings: Isobel, Betty (deceased), Donald (deceased), and Douglas and Shirley (twins). Robert married Adelaine Elaine Chromiak on October 18, 1950. After Adele passed away on June 2, 1999 he was lost and lonely. One day at the end of the year in 1999 Robert tapped Margaret Dimick on the shoulder and it was then they found each other. Robert was the most beloved soul mate companion of Margaret and spent 13 years of love and laughter in the sunset of his life. Robert loved his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Adele, a daughter Diane, and a son Allan. Immediate surviving family members include his daughter Marilyn and son-in-law Jerry, granddaughter Brooke and grandson Jeffrey and his wife Angela, their two children Jackson and Sydney, and Allan's son Dylan. A self-educated man from the wilds of Canada where he endured the discipline of school and the Roman Catholic brothers who taught him well in French and English. Then on to a trade that would stand him in good stead through his years. He was a Master Carpenter; fair, honest, nurturing and smart, a gentleman, and was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Hard-working; he instilled ethics and values; all traits carried on by his family today. Beloved, brave, gentle man, missed already. A Memorial service was held in Federal Way, Washington, USA on Thursday, January 24, 2013.
