  • It sure is nice to hear these lovely words about my Grandmother from the people who knew her over the years. I know my mother Janis appreciates them as well. Everyone in the family misses her very much. Thank you! - Posted by: Kevin Hilton (Grandson) on: Feb 13, 2013

  • Many wonderful times were spent with our families at the lake. So sorry to hear about your loss. I still have the Lampchop puppet knitted by Auntie Peggy and my little girls now enjoy playing with it. It brings thoughts of your parents each time they bring it out! - Posted by: Kiera Tomes (Woytowich) (Bob and Marilyn's Daughter from Grand Beach) on: Feb 08, 2013

  • Your mom was such a lovely lady. She always had a smile on her face. I remember her going to bingo with the ladies on 2nd Avenue. You are very luck to have such happy memories of your mom and dad and all the fun times down at the beach. My sincere condolences to all of you. - Posted by: Sandra Brabant (Kaye) (parents owned cottage at Grand Beach across street from Peggy and Alf) on: Feb 06, 2013

  • So sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. It was so wonderful to live beside the Laidlaw's at the Lake. It was great to share times with Peggy and Alf, and to grow up with the kids: Bob, Gary and Janice. We have many memories of bonfires in your yard, going down to see at 4:00 in the morning to see a swimmer come in, golfing with Janice, swimming with Gary and Fishing with Gary, etc. Thinking about all of you in the loss of your Mom. • I have so many fond memories of Peggy at Grand Beach next door to my parent's cabin. We all grew up at Grand Beach and over the summers saw so many celebrations and good times. Peggy was such a nice lady and a good friend to my parents who are both gone. My sympathy to the whole family and comfort to know she was with you for such a long time and had a good life. - Posted by: Jane Murray (Futty) (Friend - Neighbor at Grand Beach) on: Feb 03, 2013
