Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANET LORRAINE MITCHELL December 18, 1943 - January 31, 2013 Peacefully in her sleep on January 31, 2013, our beloved mother, grannie, and great-grannie passed away at home at the age of 69 years. Janet was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald William Mitchell; parents Alex and Frances Hudson, and brother Chuck. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Louise (Bob), Donna, and Denise; grandchildren William, Janessa, Kenny, Jordan, Keishawn and great-grandchildren William, Xavier, and Jahvontae. The family would like to thank the Fisher River Cree Nation for their support. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Arthritis Society of Manitoba. Funeral service 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Well today is July 23rd mom, sitting here @ work feeling sad, missing your phone calls and me always putting you on hold. But of course there is not a day goes by that I don't think about you. Wishing I would have had more time with you but I guess like they say God takes only the best ones! Sometimes I think that is selfish but at least I know when my time is up I have a lot of loving arms to greet me when I arrive. Can you give Uncle Chuck a hug for me, his anniversary is also coming up in 2 days, seems like yesterday and its been 3 years. I was so sorry to hear about your mom. She was the nicest most unjudgmental person I have known. I will always remember her laughing and keeping us amused with her stories of her youth. The pain and shock of losing you has cut deeply into my heart. I am going to miss you my "Chatterbox" sister. I will miss hearing your voice on the phone and your laugh. Most of all I am going to miss visiting you. You will always live in my heart, I love you dearly my sister.
