Deb was one of those people who lit up the room when she walked in. She had a wicked laugh, and wasn't afraid to say what she meant. I was always in awe of her shoes/boots. I don't think I saw her in the same pair twice! I will always remember her as a feisty and genuine woman. May she be dancing in her favourite shoes and smiling. - Posted by: Georgina Knight (Friend) on: Feb 09, 2013

I am so sorry to learn of Deb's passing. Worked with her at the Winnipeg Sun and she was always very up beat and lots of fun. We had a great time in Mexico in 2003. My condolences to her family. Rest in Peace Deb - Posted by: Sharon Trudeau (friend) on: Feb 08, 2013

She was a sweet and lovely lady. Funny as hell, strong, and a pleasure to be around. Kind, gentle, and loyal, she'll be missed for sure. As an old sailor all I can say is where you are Deb, "may the wind in your sails always be full, and may you always have trailing seas". Blessed be her memory. - Posted by: Art Cramer (Friend) on: Feb 08, 2013
