She had a vivid memory for remembering birthdays and anniversaries. She had a passion for keeping memories like cherished keepsakes of drawings, letters and pictures; she was the Girouard family historian. She was kind, and always willing to help her family. When our own mother passed away, she was the oldest and took over the role of a mother. She cared for each of us and we all lived with her at different times in our lives. She influenced us and wanted the best for each of us like any mother would. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Back in the 70's Neil Young had been to Hollywood and Redwood in search of a Heart of Gold. He should've made a left turn on Redwood and walked down Aikins, then he would've found his Heart of Gold that lived within Bonnie Girouard. Had it not been for her nerve of steel driving skills 30 yrs ago she would've delivered a baby in her car.. and she would do it too! Bonnie you were living proof to me that angels do walk among us. My heart goes out to your family. With Honour, Respect & Peace Louise Spence - Posted by: Louise Spence (Friend) on: Feb 07, 2013

To one of the most caring people in my life. There was so many of my childhood memories that didn't have you in it, and even more memories as I become a young mother that you weren't there to share in them. Forever in my heart, I'll never forget you. Love Sherry xox - Posted by: Sherry Burley (God Child ( one of many)) on: Feb 06, 2013

Bonnie was a very special person. Everyone liked her. She would be very quiet with those she didn't know too well at first, then she was your friend for life once she let you in. We had great times at get-togethers away from work, and those got too seldom in the last couple of years. She could be a real prankster too, and she loved to laugh. Oh man, we had lots of laughs! I miss her a lot, as I had not seen her since I first heard her tell us she was thinking of retiring at my last get-together dinner with her and Audrey. My heart breaks for her family - she loved you all so much and wanted the very best for all of you. You were everything to her - family was always frist with her. Rest well now Bonnie, I will never forget you. Your pal, Val - Posted by: Val Antonation (good friend and former co-worker) on: Feb 06, 2013
