Yvette thanks for all the board games at your place (are you sure you didn't cheat??), and the grand Christmas meals. My stomach still hurts from the potato eating contest. You will be missed, a great and fun lady. - Posted by: Jeff Fitchett (Son-in-Law (Ex)) on: Feb 13, 2013

Yvette, you were such a good neighbour, my best friend and my confidant. We met later in life so our history together was limited in that respect but no less endearing. I admire so much about you; your sense of humour; your insightful opinions; your quick mind and that incredible memory, so evident in your love of music, lyrics and artists. We shared the same tastes in music and so you provided me with my daily listening pleasure of favored oldies. We sure laughed a lot didn't we? We shopped a lot and we talked non-stop. You never judged. When ill health slowed me down, you didn't lose interest in our outings. You were a true friend. When I moved away, we kept in touch daily either via email, mega hours on the telephone and little gifts to bridge the miles, though I believe the most valuable gift one can give another, is the precious gift of time and that gift Yvette, you gave so generously to me. Thank you. Your journey leaves a great void I will fill with the joyful recollections of our times together. I will never forget you dear friend. - Posted by: Priscilla Savas (Friend) on: Feb 12, 2013

So long my dear friend. We had wonderful fun times together. We sang and danced with the little ones in our Nursery School. We learned to dance the tango on figure skates. You made a statue of Al running in pottery class. We shopped, ate, painted and sewed just for fun. You will live on forever in the hearts and souls of your family and friends. Love Betty and Bruce. - Posted by: Betty Jackson and Bruce Smith (Best friend) on: Feb 11, 2013
