THOMAS FREDERICK CECIL (CECE) CARRICK Peacefully, Cece passed away on February 11, 2013 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 89 years. Cece will be lovingly remembered by his wife Hilda, son David (Dagmar), grandchildren Kristi, Curtis and Kaeleigh, step-sons Philip and Stephen, step-grandchildren Ryan, Aidan and Hallie, and sister-in-law Jean Carrick. Cece was predeceased by his wife Gwen and brother Herb. Cece was born and grew up in Brandon. He joined the Dominion Bank after serving in the war and was a banker for 42 years. He loved to putter, garden, fish and travel, and go camping, collect firewood and build fires. He enjoyed a variety of sports including hockey, tennis, golf, curling and horseshoes, and spent countless hours going on walks and biking. A Celebration of Cece's Life will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (4000 Portage Avenue). A private family interment will be held Friday afternoon.
