DORIS SCULLY It is with sadness that the family of Doris Margaret "Peggy" Scully announce her passing on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Kelowna General Hospital. Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her two children: Darlene (Glen) and Larry; her grandchildren: Connor, Liam, Kris and Ava-Grace; sister Marge and brother Edward. Peggy is predeceased by her husband Robert. A consummate mother and homemaker, Peggy was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Peggy had an unwavering faith in God. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, February 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 839 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 15 at 10:30 a.m., also at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will take place in Gonor, Manitoba on Saturday, February 16 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery, 6594 Henderson Highway. Memorial donations in memory of Peggy can be made to the BC Lung Association, P.O. Box 34009, Postal Station D, Vancouver, BC V6J 4M2. Arrangements are being handled by Springfield Funeral Home in Kelowna and Cropo Funeral Home in Winnipeg, MB.
