DORIS ROSE MONEYAS January 30, 1931 - February 11, 2013 With her family by her side, Doris passed away peacefully on February 11, 2013 at the Concordia Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Virginia, Ruby and Vera; sons John (Caroline), Charlie (Corinna), Clarence (Sandra), Ken (Tammy) and Lynn (Yvonne): brother William John Stoney; 39 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents James Alexander and Mary Jane; Husband Patrick, sister Caroline, son Herman, daughter Anna, granddaughters Kathleen and Crystal, sons-in-law Randle Sr., Lynn and Donald. Doris was a very hard worker all her life. she loved clearing land; she did that up until the young age of 81. In her 82 years, she enjoyed doing traditional beading, crocheting and knitting for her children, grandchildren. She was a very energetic woman who loved to dance. During the summer, Doris and her husband loved taking their children and grandchildren across the lake to Black Island to make a day of blueberry picking. Throughout her life, for as long as she was able, she enjoyed making traditional medicine. Everyone who knew her knew her to have a big heart; she was always there for anyone who needed help. Wake services will take place at her youngest son Lynns residence from February 13, 2013 to February 15, 2013. Funeral will take place at Hollow Water Catholic Church on February 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. The Family would like to thank Auntie Alice for love and support during our mother's illness.
