ADELINE SZALANSKI Peacefully with family at her side on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Beausejour East Gate Lodge, aged 93 years. Adeline was predeceased by her husband Bert; granddaughter Leanne; brother Louis; sisters Helen and Frances; and parents Nicholas and Mary. She is survived by son Lawrence (Barbara); daughters Christine (Larry) and Jeanette (David); grandchildren Allen, Sara, Kevin, Gregory, Katherine, Heather, Alana, Janina and Elise; great-grandchildren Aidan, Charles, Liam, Henry, Connor, Eamon, Robin, and Soren; sister Therese; brother-in-law Joe; and sisters-in-law Violet, Frances and Adeline (Fern). Adeline was born in Melrose, MB. She married Bert in 1938. They resided in Garson, MB where they raised their three children and where Adeline continued to live after Bert's passing in 1995. In 2007, she moved to East Gate Lodge in Beausejour. Adeline was a great traveller, and took pride in gardening, sewing, cooking and hospitality. Her greatest enjoyment were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Van Rensburg and the staff at East Gate Lodge for their care and kindness. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Garson, MB. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
