MARGARET ROBERTS Margaret passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013, after a lengthy illness at Cottonwoods Care Center in Kelowna. She was born in Saskatchewan and raised in Manitoba. Margaret was also the eldest of 21 children. She was predeceased by her husbands Abraham Reimer (1976) and Robert Roberts (2001), her parents, 13 siblings and sadly her only son James. Margaret is survived by her two daughters: Shirley (John) Berthelette and Sharon From as well as six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Margaret was a loving, caring and devoted Mom, Grandma, G.G. and Friend. She always enjoyed life and before her illness could often be found working in her garden. Looking at her and seeing the twinkle in her bright blue eyes you knew she was ready for mischief. Margaret was a devout Christian. We know that she is now in Heaven smiling and waving: See You When I See You! . A Celebration of Margaret's Life will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. from First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave. Inurnment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Margaret.
