JOHN RICHARD (DICK) TURNBULL Peacefully on February 10, 2013, Dick passed away with his family at his side. He was born in Winnipeg MB on May 18, 1933 and lived there his entire life. For many years his career was in sales and management in the Real Estate field; however his passion and retirement hours were spent working with Stained Glass. Dick was predeceased by his father Robert Brown Turnbull in 1975, his mother Enid Rachel Winning in 2000, his sister-in-law Joan Turnbull in 2000 and his brother Tom Turnbull in 2004. Dick is survived by Margaret, his wife of nearly 40 years, son Rick and wife Kelley, of Winnipeg, MB, daughter Sandra Turnbull, of Summerland, BC, and stepchildren Norma Huculak and husband Chris, of Kelowna, BC and Ronald Birchard, of Winnipeg, MB. He will also be missed by his grandchildren David Turnbull (Jessyca), of Vancouver, BC, Danielle Turnbull (Shaun), of Winnipeg, MB, Hannah Wright and Emily Wright, of Summerland, BC, Robin Huculak, and Zachary Huculak, of Kelowna, BC, as well as several nieces and nephews in Canada and Australia. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the activity room at Kiwanis Chateau, 430 Webb Place. Parking is available at the Winnipeg Adult Education Centre, 310 Vaughan St. Private interment to be held at a later date. The family extends sincere thanks to all the kind staff at the Health Sciences Centre Rehabilitation Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre -D4 for all their care during the past ten months. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities, or to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation.
