It is with sadness that I receive the news of Joyce's passing. We worked together at Air Canada for several years in the 70s and I have much respect for the contribution she made to our collective effort in the Public Affairs department to foster and uphold the airline's image. Our relationship was friendly and cordial notwithstanding the manager-subordinate relationship that brought us together. My sympathies are extended to family members who mourn her passing. - Posted by: Verne Prior (co-worker & friend) on: Mar 11, 2013

Joyce and I went back to our teens. When we both worked at Air Canada we shared a few trips, including a very memorable one to the Bahamas with two of her nieces. Good memories. - Posted by: Helen Sterzer (Friend) on: Feb 23, 2013

I grew up in the area and remember both Joyce and her mother. Two of the nicest people you would want to know. Joyce had a kind and gentle spirit and will be missed. - Posted by: Sandi Freund (previous neighbour) on: Feb 23, 2013

Joyce and I were very good friends in the late seventies and eighties. We met because of our work; Joyce was in p.r. with Air Canada and I worked as a consultant with a public relations agency. We shared many good times at the Winnipeg Press Club and also had some great adventures to Tuktoyaktuk and to Mexico..from one end of the earth to the other. My deepest sympathies are extended to Joyce's family; she was a wonderful friend. - Posted by: Anna Stewart (Kruse) (friend) on: Feb 21, 2013
