KIM (LAUREL) DELAURIER (nee COLLINS) On November 21, 1959, Kim was born, Prince Albert, SK. She was taken from us Friday, February 15, 2013. Mourning the loss is Kim's mom, Carmen Collins; husband and best friend, Norman Archer; sister, Delvina McGregor; brother-in-law, Ken Lake; brother, Wade Collins; sister-in-law, Christine Asprey; brother Larry Collins; and sister Sandra Collins; niece Courtney Little, nephew-in-law, Jonny Little; nephews, Jason McGregor and Lawrence Torrie; great-nieces, Emily, Addisyn and Kaitlyn Little; and many, many friends. She will see her dad; sister and other special relatives and friends in heaven. Kim lived in Prince Albert, SK, Thompson, MB, and Winnipeg. She attended and graduated from Sisler High School. After graduation in 1977, Kim started work at Perths, which later became Canadian Linen. She never worked anywhere else and never wanted to work anywhere else. Her co-workers became part of her family. In 1980, Kim married Louis Delaurier. They always lived close to her mom and dad. But, life changes; things happen. Kim and Norm happened. She was Norm's best friend and Norm was hers. They were everything to each other. She was to be Norm's partner for life. Kim was our family's anchor and we will be lost without her. On Monday, February 25, 2013, we will Celebrate Kim's Life at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kim's memory may be made to MADD. Richard Wojcik, Funeral Director of Wojcik's Funeral Chapel Crematorium, is in care of arrangements, 204 - 586 - 8668.
